CR2013 Upload Wizard will not connect

I can add reports to Crystal Reports server directly using the CMC however, I can not use the Save As -> Crystal Enterprise button or the upload wizard.

I add details to the credential window and every time we get same error

"Transport Error: Communication Failure.(FWM 00001)"

We have opened ports 6400-6490 but that does not appear to have made any difference.

    It sounds like there is a firewall between where you are running Crystal and where your CRS server is located. If they are on the same network, I would turn OFF the Windows Firewall on the server and see whether you can now publish your report.

    As for ports, having specific ports open in the firewall only works if you also assign specified ports to the servers in your CRS system. To do this, log in to the CMC and go to "Servers". Go to each of the servers in the system, edit its properties, and set a specified "Request Port". Each must run on a different port. When you're finished setting the ports, log out of the CMC and then restart your Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) in the Central Configuration Manager (CCM) for the ports to take effect.
