8D Summary Report

HI QM Masters

I created a Q1 notification.I have given the Defect types,causes, Coreective tasks and corrective actions in the notification.

When I supposed to take a 8D summary report for that notification with the use of action box, only the defect types and causes are printed in the 8D summary report.The Corrective tasks and Corrective actions are not get printed in the 8D Summary report.

How to make them printed in the 8D Summary report?

Is there any configuration i need to maintain for this?

Typically the 8D report provided by SAP I believe was developed to sent out to your vendors. Not used internally. The vendor is supposed to fill out the report (i.e. corrective actions and tasks) and return the hard copy back to you.

I believe if you want it to print your internal corrective tasks and actions, you need to modify the SAPscript to print these out.

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM (EA-PLM), Enhancement Package 2,
the business function Generic Automotive Innovations (AUTO_GEN_CI_1) is available.
With this business function, you can use a new version of the 8D report and
enhancements in the Self-Billing Monitor.
In the Dealer Portal, you can use extended search criteria to search for vehicles based
on the configuration. Furthermore, you do not have to select a specific vehicle
immediately, but rather you can first enter the requirements and then assign it to the
sales order later when the vehicle is completed.
