Hi Friends..
I have a situation. I am using Division as Free Characterstic and need to restrict Division by one Optional Entry variable.
The propeties of the Vvariable are as follows:
Type of the variable: Characteristic Value
Variable name: ZSODIV01
Desc: Division (Optional)
Procssing By: User Entry / Default Value
Varaible Represents: Multiple Single Values
Variable entry is: Optional
Ready for Input is checked.
I want to restrict Division by this variable and same time want to Exclude # (Unassigned). if I use varaible only with out exclusion #, its showing as optional Variable, But If I use both restrictuions it showing as mandatory variable. any idea why this is happening? or how to correct it?
Thanks in advance.
