Usage of variants in AO version 2.2 Patch 4 in AO-workbooks when saved on BI platform

maybe this question was answered in the past.

When using AO workbooks (they're saved on BI platform) I'm not able to use variants. The authorization object S_RS_PARAM is maintained on the acc. ABAP-Stack of the BW System. When I'm using a single BW query I can use the variant and I can save the variant.

I've tried it with latest available AO-Version and patchlevel but I'm missing the function to use variants on combination with AO workbooks which are saved on a BI platform as well ;-(.
