Document number format

Hi,

Is it possible to have numbering format as follows.COBRYYNNNN. (CO-Company Code, BR-Branch Code, YY Last 2 digit of the year, NNNN-Sequence Number).

and can these be reet every year

Hi,

You can do it by having external number range and it can be set every year. This is very basic of SAP. I think you are from domain prespective asking this.

The problem aspect associated with this you need to keep track for each and every doc , many times concurrent postings will hamper. this is best used when you want to have some ref no as input to this document automatically.

Hi,

External intervals can only contain either letters or numbers, as sorting can differ between platforms (Code page):

Allowed: 000001 to 999999

AAAAAA to ZZZZZZ

Not allowed: AAAAAA to 999999

It may have maximum 10 digits or alphabatical keys

I think you can do this by using a number range that is external only. You may also refer to your abaper also.
