Inter company Scenario

Hi Friends

Plz find the details of scenario of our current project,

we have two plants which are 6000, 6010

These two plants are having two different company codes,

Maintenance plant is subdivided by location to facilitate the maintenance jobs. The 6010 maintenance jobs are organized directly from central maintenance department 6000.

Preventive maintenance & routine maintenance for packaging machines of 6010 is carried out by 6010 (team of attendants).

Preventive maintenance & routine maintenance for bulk manufacturing of 6010 is carried out by central maintenance department 6000.

Preventive and routine maintenance of all the equipments related to HVAC & utility services attached to 6010 plant is managed by central maintenance team 6000.

Mazal will give every moth service charges to 6000 for handling rest of all maintenance activities (with out packing area).

Plz suggest me how to map this in SAP. In this mainly my problem is these two are different company codes.

In Our standard SAP way we have three options--

Processing with an external company as work center

Processing with an individual purchase order

Processing with service specifications

In this i want choose first option plz suggest me which is better or not.

other wise if any new option is there plz send me details.

And also if u have any expericnce in this first option plz send me detailed information.

Dear Rajesh,

Plant Maintenance functions with Centeralised & decenetrlised maintenance concepts.

Now for these scenarios deciosn depends on how business requiremnt to capture the cost under different circumferences.

Again is there stores is common or separate. In a nut shell u r all options are correct. As suggested by Pete it depends on FICO,MM, & all other admin factors,system design etc.

Raj,

All the options described above require a PO ...

So in order of simlicity:

1. Processing with an external company as work centre

2. Processing with an individual purchase order

3. Processing with service specifications

However, your decision will depend upon other factors the MM department, training, accounting, authorisation and control, etc...

As per standard SAP you can assign no of plants to one company code ,but you cannot assign one plant to 2 different company codes ,

hence you cannot assign maintenance planning plant of one company code to another maintenance plant of different company code

hi

create a workcenter with separate activity and cost center ,plan for this and while creating the order specify this workcenter.

also create a individual PO ,as soon as your work is confirmed invoice them
