Default order type from the buffer.

Dear Friends,

I am having different order types and based on the production schedular and Prod. Sced Profile, system is selecting the ordertype for the material.

During the manual order creation in CO01, system is proposing the last created material number and order type from the buffer. My user is not changing the order type for the second order. Simply he is changing the material and creating a new order for another material (actually which requires PP02 order type). Since he is not changing the order type PP01 which was proposed by the system based on the last order created, for the next material also system is selecting the PP01 as the order type.

How can I remove this order type from the buffer. My requirement is for the next order creation, system should not propose the order type. Otherwise if the order type is different than the Production schd. order type.. it should throw an error.

I tried to hide the field order type using the screen variant. But it is not working...

Other than using the user exit... is there any other way... please let me know.

Regards,

Surya.

      Hi,

Create two different scheduling profiles for Order type PP01 & PP02.

Assign in material master to respective material.

For PP01 order type material, PP02 order type will not work.

When you enter in CO01, for PP02 order type material, PP01 will not work if you wrongly enter.

      Regards,

      Dharma

    Hi Surya,

    Refer Below Link,

You may find some helpful replies from experts specially from Mr. Shiva.

    [Link - 1|Restricting Material for particular Order type;

Regarding Default Order Type from last transaction is a effect of GUI (I am not sure). So Basis person may help you on this.

There is one simple method regarding restriction over Order type selection and that is make personnel list insted of total dropdown list. This is not ideal solution but restrict user from selecting wrong order type.

    Hi,

You can achieve this by implementing user exit PPCO0007.

to implement the user exit follow the following steps.

    1) go to CMOD = Give the project name (e.g. CO01-Changes for Order Type buffering)

    2) Save this project then go Enhancement assignment add PPCO0007

    3) Save and then click component button.

    4) Double click on EXIT_SAPLCOZV_001.

    5) Then double click on ZXCO1U06 press enter against Warning message. Paste following code

Note: You will need ABAP register ID to do following coding.

    DATA l_auart like CAUFVD-auart.

set parameter id 'AAP' field l_auart.

    6) Activate the Include program and activate the Project.
