chart of accounts

Hi guys,

We notice that there are many Chart of Accounts installed in our system such as Chart of Accounts-Belgium, Chart of Accounts-Switzerland, Chart of Accounts-China and many more. We want those Chart of Accounts be removed from our system. Are we allowed to removed those unwanted Chart of Accounts? Do we need to configure it?

Thanks and more power...

kay

    Dear ,

SAP provide cahrt of account for different country like India Belgium. Client will use it as per their country.

Thougth if you want to delete it they you can delete it by OBA8.

Spro > Financial Accounting (New) >General Ledger Accounting (New) >Preparation for Productive Start>Delete Test Data>Delete Chart of Accounts.

By default this chart of account of different company code is assign with company code & etc which is provided by SAP.

First of all you have to remove all settings which is provided by SAP.

I hope it will helpful to you.

    Dear Carol

Those are like templates and not do any harm to your project.

However, When you are coping from client to client, based on your instructions, your basis team will remove all unwanted data.
