Formula Help!

Hi,

I'm a Crystal Report XI user.

I am trying to develop a report to determine the last payment date per vendor.

In my database, I have the vendor's name and id along with a list of payment dates and payment numbers.

I would like to summarize by vendor and only display the last payment date along with the vendor name and id to determine when we last used the vendor.

I was thinking I had to use a MAXIMUM formula, but it isn't dispaying the data in the format I need.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

    Group on vendor,

add an additional sort (Report | Record Sort Expert) on the payment date and make it ASCENDING.

Then simply display all the fields in the Group (vendor) Footer so that it will automatically display the last payment date/amount/etc.

You can suppress the group header and detail section.

    Enjoy!
