Hi,

Where can I see the ACDOCA-AWREF (Reference doc.) field in the FB03 screen? I know where is BKPF-XBLNR is and where is XREF1. But ACDOCA-AWREF is different from these two.

Cheers.

Hi

Refer OSS Note 984305 and add this field for GL Line item display in T021S table. You should than be able to see this in FB03 line item display

Actual question should have been 'How do I enter/ populate this field ACDOCA-AWREF with a certain value?'.

To give you a bit of background: Basically, I am using a program logic to find open invoice (legacy) amounts by passing the legacy invoice number in this field ACDOCA-AWREF. My understanding was that I can enter the legacy invoice value in this field (screenshot below) and standard SAP would copy the same value to ACDOCA-AWREF. But eventually I figured out that it is NOT happening. So, now I have 2 options:

1. Change the program logic to fetch open invoice amounts by going go BSID/ BSAD tables instead of ACDOCA. I don't want to take this option.

2. Preferred option - find a way to enter the legacy invoice number in ACDOCA-AWREF as part of migration, so program change would not be required.

Hi Sankar,

What solution did you implement for achieving this?

We are also in the similar situation where we intend to populate legacy invoice number in AWREF.

There was no way to manually populate values in ACDOCA-AWREF. So, we changed the conversion logic to populate the legacy invoice numbers in BSID-XBLNR.
