Fiori App 'Manage Documents' - Object link data not configured

Hi,

within Fiori app 'Manage Documents' I get the error 'Object link data not configured' if I try to link a SAP Object. Using TA CV01N in SAPGUI I can link this business object to a document.

Hi Christoph,

you mentioned that it is planned for the future releases. How can we get more information about the 'roadmap' for the app 'Manage Documents'. In the official roadmap slides I can't find any information.

We found the same problem for 'EQUIP' & 'WBS element' with error 'Object link data not configured', while it works for Material and DIR.

I searched for similar issue in the near past and I found the following statement form a development colleague:

When you add Documents to business objects like Equipment those object links are visible in Manage Documents App. Navigation is not possible as of today, but is planned for the future releases. But I definitely agree that the message is misleading hence would try to give a proper message which would then lead to no confusions. I have checked this with my team to rewrite the message but the fact is we do not have control on the message as it directly pops out the message from the UI whenever there is no navigation link.

Hence we appreciate your patience as we would be providing the navigation, the issue should be resolved till then the message prevails.
