Location XXXXXXXX (Transportation Zone) not found

Hi ,

I am getting the following error when I try to create integration models for locations. Can you tell me how to get transportation zone into APO ?

HI,

We have not maintained Transportation Zone for locations in APO, Still we donot have any problem to CIF Locations from R/3.

As suggested please try to CIF the same locaiton in other Quality or Dev systems.

Hi All,

Sorry for the delayed reply . But we were in the process of Go LIVE and it was crazy here.

Anyway , I found that the Plants went through when I removed one of the address fields in the PLANTS !! the funny part is we are NOT using TP/VP or anything to do with it.

I just needed a plant to go through. I still do not know why it failed only in Production first and went through when I removed the Address field.

Hi,

The systems tries to assign the transfered location to transport zone but this transport zone does not exist in APO.

It should be created there manually because unfortunately extented hierarchies can not be maintained via CIF even when used in the TP/VS application (transportation zones).

This has not been developed until now.

Afterwards please reactivate the integration model. It should work then.

We are on APO 5.1 and ECC 6.0 .

I integrated customers thinking that it might be the cause . But I am getting this error inspite of that .

what location type you are trying to CIF?..If its not the customer type then I believe there is no need of transportation zones

does your issue solved? if not in which client system you are having this issue? please try to CIF this location in any other systems like sand box or dev and check if the same issue occurs

I believe transportation zones will be mainatined for the location type customer for which location hierarchy has to be maintained in APO, for all other location types like plant, DC etc transportation zone can be left blank
