DART France

Hi SAP Gurus,

I have implemented the DART notes for France, and made the relevant customizing, a couple of years ago, and now we need to use it, but can anyone explain me the process.

When I run FTW1A I keep getting the error:

Could not open file \\HOST\DATA\xxx on application server xxx

The repository have allready been created. I thought that FTW1A should save the tile in the repository from AL11, so do not understand the error.

Can anyone explain the process, I thought first step was to create the file in FTW1A and then run FTWY to get the file out ?

Right now my problem is that I keep getting the above error in FTW1A.

    Hello Pernille,

do you have checked if the Folder of the choosen directory set still exits correctly?

DART don´t accept placeholders - the folder needs to be identically (1:1) saved in the directory set like the real physical folder.
Beware of the difference of Unix and Windows using capital letters and "/" or "\".

    Please check Transaction FTWP:
The settings of the used "directory set" in section "file directories" and AL11 and your system environment.
If the error still exists, please check again FTWP - section "File path Syntax".

    Standard SAP is:

    UNIX <PARAM_1><FILENAME>
    WINDOWS <PARAM_1><FILENAME>

PARAM_1 is/are the folder(s) of the directory set

Filename is the filename entered in FTW1a

If none of the above hints can help, please search your error in SAP Launchpad and update DART with all missing SAP Notes sequentially
until it is actual. Then more or less it should work.

I hope I my explanation can help you.

    Kind regards

    Bernd
