Hi sap guru's

genarally when we do MIGO stock get updated

but in third party senario's we do MIGO stock is not updated why?

i known the concept of third party, we r sent the material directly to customer, ok but why system stock is not updated, what exactly setting behind them, please give me detail step

During GR for a third party scenario stock gets consumed to the all auxillary account assignment X.

Hi,

When you create 3rd Party Sales Order, system copies Schedule Line Category as "CS" which has control as;

Item category 5 Third-party

Acct.assig.cat. X All aux.acct.assgts.

Check Schedule Line Category in VOV6

And for Item Category "5" (Third- party), account assignment is mandatory, check it in SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Define External Representation of Item Categories

And when GR is done system, posts the stock against the account assignment and thus stock gets consumed immediately.

Hi asma,

In Third Party Scenario you do only Logical GR hence Stock will not be updated in Third Party Procurement Process Since you Material will be sending directly to third party / Customer.
