IDoc2IDoc with/out party

Hello

We have an old R/3 system 6.2

and we want to exchange idocs from the ECC6 -> XI -> R/3 6.2

am I required to configure partys? or only 2 business systems?

    Only two WebAS ABAP business syetems are enough.

    NO Need of party........

    you need 2 business systems with their Technical systems as WebAsAbap.........

    Hi,

    No need to create the party, if the Land scape is different then only we can define the party.

    Now you are in the same land scape so no need of Party, Define two business systems thats enough.
