tolerance with resp to PR-PO

we have already configured PO WITH RESPECT TO PO FOR "NB" STANDARD PO.

see i want to make changes ....

situation.

pr qty 100

po qty 120

i want to keep tolerance for this po ...

Hi Rewa,

Set the Message No 06 076 in OMCQ as Warning Message so that it will allow you to order more than pr qty.

As per the issue u want is :

PR : 100 QTY

PO: 120 QTY rite : ???

I suppose this can achieved but in sum different way ie at GRN level , will that be ok ?

ie :

PR : 100

PO : 100

but for GRN : 120

This can achieved by allowing tolerence for the respective material in Material Master record as well as in PO by giving over delivery tolerance as 5% or so .

Hi

I do not think any setting is there in SAP for PR-PO quantity tolerane setup. But we can have for Price differences.

In case you need to change the PO quantity, it is better to revise the PR and create the PO with new quantity.

Hi,

If the Qty is difference in PR & PO then what is the need of the PR. why don't you go directly for PO.

There is no tolerance keys is there in standard SAP for

PR -PO qty

But you can avoid the PR qty not to exceed in PO by using the message settings. But this will not work for your process as PR is less & PO qty is more.
