Hi,
I'm facing a very strange situation in Information Steward. w.r.t. Validation rules in Data Insight.
The moment a Rule is created, saved and sent for approval, it disappear from the rule tab.
However it is still visible in the Task list and it can be access by approver directly from the task(not visible in rule tab)
If the Approver accepts the rule and approve. the Rule is gone from the task list as well. Now it's no where visible in Information Steward. If I try to create the same rule, I get an error stating the rule with same name exist,
If the Approver Rejects the rule, it keeps showing in the task list but still missing from the Rules tab. a new rule can't be created as well with same name.
I don't see any errors either in the Error log for Application. Please advise what could be wrong. Just to add I've administrator access so authoriation issue is ruled out.
Could it be the issue described in SAP Note 2538596?

it's somewhat similar to the note. the strange thing is all the Rules were fine and visible, even exported to DS and being used there. Then all the rules just disappeared. We are already on the latest SP level. Since there was not much work done, we recreated the IS repository and things are back to normal. What caused the issue, still remain a Mystery .
