Planning startegy 30

Hi all ,

I am using the planning strategy 30, Here i created many sales order wioth different delivery date but the system creates only one planned order for all these sales order , I want one planned order for one sales order ,

I have used the availability check 01, and individual collective requirements 1,

Please give me solution.

Hi,

Planning Strategy 30 is not a MTO Strategy.

With this Strategy, system will not create the Proposals individually.

It will club together the requireents per day and propose a single receipt eleemnt.

This can only possible with MTO Scenarios.

Lot Size: EX and Ind/Collect indicator 1 will not help..

Dear Siva/Bramha,

Thank you for your inputs, I changed to daily lotsize and ind/coll indicator as 2 , still it is not working properly,

What are the other setting shall i need to maintain ?

Hi Kumar,

This will not work..

This is SAP Standard behavior.

As the Pl. Strategy 30 is not a MTO Scanario, it will not work..

Dear Siva,

Though it is make to stock strategy, Why the lotsizing procedure is not working for this strategy,

It behaves in same manner for all the lotsizing procedure, and also for minimum lot qty ,

Please give me your suggestions.

Kumar Shiva is Right, Why do you want to use the Planning strategy 30 only? If you use any MTO Planning strategy then it can be possible also or you can create your new planning strategy also.

Hi Kumar,

With strategy 30 you can work with PIRs (demand without reference to customers) as well as with sales orders (customer requirements). Here sales orders will not consume your PIRS and you can perform planning annd production in parallel to both PIRs and Sales orders.Example retail industry.

I thinkyour doubt is clear that you can use DM in strategy 30. Production by lot means you can carry out the production for independnet lot sizes for both PIRs and individual sales orders.

hi,

for ur strategy 30 ,it means ur planning for month of different customres , in this case u will get one planned order, if ur planning for next month then it will creat new planned order.

Hi,

Please check the individual/collective indicator in material master MRP3 view, set it to the individual requirement.

What is your MRP type and lot size?
