Dear All

we have two plant

one is manufacturing plant & other is power generation plant (thermal power plant )-not is same primises

for excise plant of view we have only one excise registratation & get excise benefit for both plant as all material needed by power plant

purchase by manufacturing plant. In present client is doing like this for Incomtax poupose

is it possible that one excise registration can be use for two plant

also cost of some material differnt in both plant

please suggest me for two plant or either we go for power plant as Profit Center

Excise

You cannot use one excise registration no for both the plants

you have to register separately

For Profit Centre.

If for the two plants there is one balance sheet then you can use the same profit centre

If the P&L Account is different for both the plants then it should be different

hi

what u can do is do gr of all goods in 1st plant for excise

and then make transafer of goods to other plant

try this
