Batch classification

Hi Experts,

I have issue with re to batch classification.

On OMJJ, I maintained on the Classification batches #3-classification always in foreground.

But when I do transfer posting, and when we try to click the "classification button" on the batch tab, and then go back to initial screen i encounter error

"Inconsitency in the classification data, transaction terminated".

Could you please help me find why this error occur?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hi,

Check class & characteristics are assigned properly for that material

    in material master.

Check the class status (is Released) in CL02.

    Hi

Check whether the Batch class is maintained in CL02 and Batch Characteristics in CT04. Check whether the Batch class is maintained in the material master classification view under class type 022 /023 (batches).

Once you maintain these steps you may not face any problem.

    Regards,
