Foreign currency in BI report

Hi Experts,

I want to do reports for FI. Am trying to fetch foreign currency exchange rate in BI. I can find this in R/3 in tcode FAGL_FC_VAL. but i want to do in BI.can you please help me in tracing those for which cube or ods will serve me the purpose. Your valuable idea would be highly appreciated.

      You have to transfer the currency from source system (R/3) to BW system. For doing this on BW server go to RSA1-> select the source system and right click -> Transfer exchange rates. It will transfer all the exchanges rates from R/3 to BW.

      After that you will be able to convert the currency in the report.

    Hi Arun,

    You should check the Currecny tables in R3. ( tables like TCURR, TCURV ). if you can find teh xcahnage rates there for your foreign currecny, then do a exchnage rate transfer in BW.

      Thanks a lot for answering me on time. But I need some more information from you,i want to do report on FAGL_FC_VAL what we get in r/3 to BI and do some manipulation in that. First i need to know which data target will be suitable for this. whether standard is available or customisation.
