sync RFC scenario VS BPM scenario -- speed doubt

Hello friends!

My case:

I have to choose between 2 scenarios:

1) SAP(Idoc) <=> XI <=> ThirdPart(WebService)

2) SAP(s\q\tRFC) <=> XI <=> ThirdPart(WebService)

In 1st scenario I need to use BPM. In 2sd I needn't.

So I want to know which way more simple to implement and more speedy.

Thanks in advance!

Alexandr

Hello

As according to your choice the second option is more optimized way

i.e. SAP(s\q\tRFC) <=> XI <=> ThirdPart(WebService)

this is because of various instances which get started such as mesage instance or other instances so that would not be optimized or speedy as of your first option .

Thank's

Second one is better in terms of both performance, testing and monitoring. Monitoring of BPM is not all that easy.

Second approach would be better in terms of performance. The development time for both the approach would be almost same but however, the development would be easier in approach 2.
