BOM

Hi Gurus,

I want to link up one material (FERT) with it's BOM. So that when I pull up the Subcontracting PO , and click on Explode BOM button, the screen should come up as filled up with all the materials needed to make for the finished product.

Thanks,

Kumar

    HI,

You can do it in two ways,

    1. You can go to CS01 and create a BOM for that finished material FERT with all its child parts.

    2. You can directly go to the creation of subcontractor PO and then as and when you put 'L' in the item details, Materials tab you have a icon for exploding the BOM. you can enter the child materials here also.

If you have maintained in CS01 then the BOM will come up when you are doing the subcontracting PO of the finished material.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Kiran
