The fiscal year variant of the leading ledger is SAME as the one assigned to company code in OBY6 transaction.

Good question! There is nothing like a fiscal year variant of the leading ledger. The leading ledger uses the fiscal year variant and the posting period variant assigned to the company code. For postings to leading ledger, system checks the FYV and PPV assigned to the company code in that particular posting.
