Reference Data for lookup tables like Countries, Currencies -- does it need XI to bring data from R/3

Hi,

U can bring reference data without XI using MDMGX transaction in ECC.

Run Transaction u201Cmdmgxu201D.

Define Object Type for Extraction or use an existing Object Type.(for depending on business object customer,material etc)

Define Repositories(Repository name) and FTP servers(ready folderof FTP enabled path).

Select Maintain Ports and Check Tables(enter port and checktable name and fields u want to extract).

Start Extraction.

you can even extract it in local folder.

Hi,

MDMGX is use to load lookup table data(Reference data) which always need to be fill before filling Master data. you dont need XI for MDMGX to bring Data from R/3 system.

Hi Fabian,

For this you must have valid user id and password for Service Market Place then only you could download from it.
