While in SAP, click on the green, red and blue icon in the top right of your screen, or click ALT+F12. Click on the last option, "About".

This will give you your release and patch level.

    Hi

For your own version you can click on the box in the top-left corner of SAPlogon (not a SAP session window) and then choose 'about' from the menu there.

Menu option SYSTEM --> STATUS will show you this information. If you click

on the "Other kernel info" button it will show you in more detail

    Regards
