HI SAP GURU,
If you have released Prdn order today and it had gone to shop floor. Next day it was found that there is shortage of material. What will you do?
PLEASE SUGGEST ME.
REGARDS,
REDDY
Reddy,
If you are looking at a solution for this problem, probably I would suggest you to use a User Status profile, and set/delete status based on MSPT and MACM. The user status should not allow Confirmation and Goods movment when it is set. Run the availablity check run collectively every day night, and based on the material availablity the user status gets set or deleted, which controls subsequent processing.

Hi NSR,
Read PP Master data In CO02 it will take you back to create mode and you can avoid this.
kindly maintain in IMG menu whether the order should be released or created if the materail is shortage. In T code OPJK
for your plant and order type make the settings as per your requirement
Use tcode OPJK.
Select your order type and your business function 1 or 2.
1 is for order creation.
2 is for release.
Make sure the following setting to control the order if missing parts found:
1.Remove indicator mark in No availability check
2.Indicate Check material availability when saving the order.
3.Type of comp check: ATP check
4.Material release: 3- No release if parts are missing.

Hi nsr,
1) Do " Read Master data" - If no activity on order is confirmed then by doing this you can convert the relesed order to again Created status.
2) If " Read Master data" is not possinle then you can lock the Order unitl component will availbal for the Production.
