Hi,

If any one help me, How to get back the deleted data?

Scenario: If I delete a record in an infotype and saved it. After some time I got to know that I deleted the wrong record. Actually I have to delete some other record. Now I would like to get back the deleted record.

Is it possible? What is the procedure?

    Hi Venu!

In this case u need enable the infotype log. This is a standard feature to control exactly this case.

To enable infotype log, you need config the follow table at SM34 transaction: VC_T585ABC

Entry with the field group and infotype number.

With this feature you can check all changes in any PA infotype.

    Best regards

Check out the contents of your PCL4 cluster, which is the change documents for the HR master data (Read more : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/4f/d528ff575e11d189270000e8322f96/content.htm)

    Hi Vanu

The right answer, in my opinion, reading carefully your question, is that in the standard functionality of SAP HCM, this requirement is not possible. If you delete an infotype record, there are no ways or standard transactions of reports created to restore this deleted data.

The system have a technical option, described by the others colleagues, named the Infotypes Logs. If you activate this option, there is a report which can show you all the activity had performed over the infotypes (selected in customization), even with the fields and values modified.

With this report you would have information to restore "manually" the records deleted, I mean, you use this data to go to transactions and create again the records by yourself. There will be no automatic restore of the deleted records.

Maybe other consultants can think in a large ABAP development to fullfill this requirement, always exists alternatives. Maybe there are third party products that can do somthing like you need.

I hope this can help you.
