DataSource that does not have the same status as the source system

How to rectify the following error

DataSource 80VENDORT does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse

The time stamp in the source system is 11.12.2007 15:22:44.

The time stamp in the BW system is 09.03.2007 08:21:46.

Please Advise

    in the infosource tab , right click on your infosource and select Replicate data source. It will work.

    Hello The Don,

    You're using datamart from 0VENDOR from your source system to your destination system.

    If is supposed to use the datamart from the same system (example from 0VENDOR to another InfoObject all inside productive system) you have to generate the export datasource in the system itself, rather than transport it from other BW system (dev or qa).

    Do that and check if the error remains.

      I assume you got the error message when trying to load data. So there was no successful load yet. If the infosource is for master data (as it looks like), there shouldn't be any problem with duplicate records. It will just overwrite resp. update the existing values (in your case texts of infoobject 0vendor?).

      The main thing is the re-activation of the dependend objects.
