Hi All,

When we create Maint.Order for an Equip. the cost center and the profit center in the order belongs to maint. work center not the Equip. cost center and the profit center.How this is possible?

What is the difference b/w Equip. cost center & Maint. Work center cost center and what is the use ?

Plz Give ur valuable anwsers.

Dear

when you create maintenance order ,the cost center entered in the equipment master record will get copied to the settlement receiver ,the maintenance cost center will be responsible cost center which means responsible for carrying the work.

Hi,

My query is that we are having a cost center in equip. master data and maint. work center in equip. master data which is also having its own cost center .Now when we create a maint. order for that equip. cost center of maint. work center comes in the order,how this possible and after completion of order the cost wiil settele to cost center of maint. work center,then what is the use cost center define in equip. master data?

hi

can you be specific in which area you are finding which cost center.

example for equipment 1000 your cost center is XXXX and the cost center for Maint work center is YYYY,

then while creating the order if you have specified 1 hr work then system will calculated based on the planning done in KP26 for the activity and cost center (YYYY) maintained in the Maint workcenter

the total amount including of the internal labour ,material etc will be settled to the cost center XXXX which will be defaulted to the settlement receiver .

Dear thyagarajan,

ur explanation is very good but the one thing i want to know that, in order there is additional data tab under this responsible cost center and profit cost center field which is having the cost center & profit center of maint work center so what does it reflects?

As per ur explation the labour cost,material cost etc will settle to cost center of equip. then which cost will settele to maint work center cost center and how we decide which cost will settele to which cost center?

hi

responsible cost center is the one which is specified in the maintenance work center ,once you run the settlement ,the amount which referenced to the internal labour will get credited and while issued the salary to the persons involved then debit will be done
