Implementation/Realization/Initializing

Hi all!

Now we are in realization phase of an implementation project. We have installed SAP and its raw. System landscape is also set. Now what are the initial settings to be done and taken care before going for baseline configuration, i.e. even before creating enterprise structure. Can anyone explain briefly?

Hi,

Ensure the Sand box client is utilised most and enter the datas in development server.In Development server further changes can be done and explain the perfect scenerios to the core team members and od changes if required.

Before entering the IMG datas in Golden client,ensure all the corrections done in Development server as this IMG datas will be entered in Quality server.

Hi,

General Configuration deals with Company code,Enterprise structure defining and assigning.

Baseline configuration deals with module specific.

Hi,

Before Realization, Is you system landscape designed?

BAsic System Landscape consists of Dev,Quality and Production system.

Do all the configuration in Dev system

Hi sridhar!

Thx for ur immediate reply. I already said that the system landscape has been set and i am in the verge of configuration . But i dont know whether there is any initial general settings to be done in IMG before going for a baseline configuration or general configuration. For your information the package which we are using is SAP A1 (All-In-One).
