Error:Pick request not found

Dears,

I have a problem .

we have implemented warehouse module(configured auto TR ,TO and Confirmation),the system is displaying an *error msg :the pick request not found for the order.*

we are getting this error msg only for some process orders and with few materials only.

And then if we do manual WM staging in the Process order screen,the error goes of but the Auto TO will not be generated.

can anyone throw some light on this problem?

Please use ctrlv & ctrlc to paste the exact error message with error message ID.

Hi Csaba,

Will send you the Screen shot of the error once it appears again.

Also there is one more clarification why Transfer order is not being created automatically for some of the orders?(But Auto TR has been generated).

On what all possible conditionds Auto TO may not generated?

Hi,

If you want this process to be automized you have to have very well maintained master data...

auto TO:

SPRO > LE > WM > Acivities > Transfers > Define Movement Types - here you can set automatic TO creation for WM-mvt.

SPRO > LE > WM > Interfaces > Define Production - here: 'Define control data' tab, Production View > push 'PP' button > set the proper indicator for 'WM request' field

Please check when you are facing problem whether the proper scheduling profile is assigned to the material master of your FG/SFG (which is the PrdOrd-header-material).

Please also check for components whether the 'control cycles' are maintained well.

If the system doesn't generate TR/TO isn't it possible that the components are not 'pick parts'? - pleae check your settings.

Hi Csaba,

Like to inform you that we found out that for some orders the user used to Release the order and instead of saving it he used to go directly to GO to Pick list ,During which the system displays the following message.

"No pick request found for the order" Message no:LP044
