trans_amount

while am creating table with field trans_amount,when i activated the table it is asking reference table and field.

    you need to provide the table name and the field of which type you would like to have the field format.

    Number type VBAK-VBELN " VBAK is the table , VBELN is the field.

    In your case.. if you are not sure for the table name and field.. you can declare as

    data: trans_amount type p decimal 2.

      hi jay,

      i have given vbak, vbeln it shows the error doesnot exist,am creting table with name zcredit_payments ,when i activated the table it asks provide ref table and field for trans_amount field,u said define

      data:trans_amount type p decimal 2,but in dtat dictionary whrere i did this,pls help me

    Hi,

    If you have using QUAN or CURR data type for field trans_amount in your table, then provide reference table and reference field.

    Reference table-> table name,

    Reference field:

    For currency : CURRENCY

    For Quantity : UNIT
