Role-dependent View configuration

How can I create different views for one user account, dependent on the business role the user choose? (i.e. ZZSALESPRO, ZZSERVICEPRO)

    Hi,

You can't make different views, but you can make different view configurations for each business role. Each business role has a role config key associated with it.That you can verify from transaction CRMC_UI_PROFILE. You can also create your own role config key and attach it to your business role. Then you need to create your view configurations corresponding to your role config key.

To create role config key, go to SPRO->IMG->CRM->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition->Define role configuration key.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    Rohit

      Hi,

It depends on your business requirement. You can use the same role config key for different business roles.

The default key <*> should be defined in the SPRO transaction->Define role configuration key.

If it is there, I don;t see any reason why it is not coming in Business Role Edit transaction.

      Thanks and Regards,

      Rohit
