raw material can be procured but no PRs in MRP run

how can i set-up a material in such a way that it is part of a BOM, but upon MRP run, no PRs shall be generated for this? When i select material type ROH, the Procurement type "F" is always default. I want to change this no No Procurement.

    Hi,

Use MRP type ND - No planning in material master of ROH material. So when MRP run system will not plan for this material.

    OR

In MRP4 view select MRP dependent requirement - MRP dep req not planned.

    Hi Raf,

If you don't want MRP to create any procurement proposals, why not set the Material Master MRP strategy for your Raw Materials to 'No Planning'?

    Hi Raf,

If you don't want Planing thorugh MRP then obviously Set MRP type ND.

You can also set MRP type VB - Manual Reorder Point - For which system gives the Planing proposals only in the case of Stock fall down to the Reorder point else it works as a ND.
