Hi,

Yes it gets updated automatically when you make changes in OMWN or OMJJ.

Refer Report MB55

MB55 - Display Quantity String

Description: -

Use report RM07MMST to display the data relating to one or more quantity strings. This will enable you to determine which data base fields (stock fields) are checked/updated by a certain quantity string. You can then press an F-key to obtain a list of the movement types that use a particular quantity string.

Output: -

The list of quantity strings contains the following data (from table T156F):

o segment string

o field name for availability calculation (availability block),

o field name in the quantity blocking table,

o indicator for data base update,

o indicator for primary entry,

o indicator for arithmetic,

o indicator for back-posting to the previous period.

By positioning the cursor on the quantity string and pressing F2, you will obtain a reference list of movement types containing the following data from T156S:

o indicator for value update,

o indicator for quantity update,

o special stock indicator,

o movement indicator,

o indicator for inward movement/receipt,

o indicator for consumption posting,

o posting string for values, and

o quantity string.

Position the cursor on the availability block (in the basic list) and press F5 to obtain additional information on the availability block from table T156V.

Run the report using Qty Strings from M000 to SAUW & execute

Now Position the cursor on one of the qty strings & check the movement types attached to the Qty string

Hello Pankaj,

Thanks for your reply. Please let me know if material type any way is linked to this table T156SY.

For a STO, when I am doing a Goods Issue for a finished goods I am able to post goods issue successfully. But if I am using UNBW (non-valuated) material , I am not able to post goods Issue. I am getting the error "Check table T156SY : entry YY1 _ X _ L X does not exist "

Note : In both the cases, the same movement type is used.

Thanks & Regards,.
