go to MM02, select the view

General Plant Data / Storage 1

and extend ur material to a plant.

Or go to MM01 create a new material with this view selected and give a plant to it.

That sounds a bit wierd. MARC is basically the Material, Plant table. ANyways did u create it for any plant.

Please change the material and assign any plants and see if its thr.

Shreekant,

Is only upon the assignment of material to plant can we see it in Plant data.

Do we assign material to plant ??

If you create a material without any Plant to it you wont see it in the MARC table since that material does not exist in any Plant.

For MARC the Key is Material and Plant and to have a entry in MARC you need to have both.

Go to MM02 use the same material and assign any plant tot it. You will see the record in MARC as well. Hope this explains.

AFter you extend the material in atleast one plant then only you can see that entry in Table MARC.
