Asset master data for depreciation key 0000

I want to do some changes in asset master data (class land) and as the depreciation key is 0000, and the field layout is set as mandatory for field Useful life, in asset depreciation areas (transaction code AO21).

I cannot find the way to save the asset without fulfilling the field Planned useful life in periods (ANLB-NDPER). How did you manage this?

Should I only complete field Planned useful life in periods, with 1?

Regards,

    Hi,

Yes, You can fill the field "Planned Useful Life Period"=1.

Another way is : you can create a new layout in AO21 and set the planned useful life = optional. Then you can assign this layout to asset class land in t-code : OAYZ.

    Hope it helps.
