How can we create Material Sets?

    Creating Material Sets

    To create a material set, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Hospital ® Basic Data Administration ® Material Requisition ® Material Sets ® Define.

    The Change View "Material Set": Overview screen appears.

    To create new material sets, choose New Entries, and then specify the identification key and name of the material set.

    To include new material set items, choose Material Set Items.

    The Change View "Material Set Items": Overview screen appears.

    Choose New Entries, and specify the data for the material set items.

    Save the data, and exit the function.

    Assigning Material Sets to Organizational Units

    ...

    1. To assign a material set to organizational units (OUs), on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Hospital ® Basic Data Administration ® Material Requisition ® Material Sets ® Assign to OU.

    The Change View: "IS-H MM: Assign Material Sets to OU": Overview screen appears.

    2. To create new assignments, choose New Entries, and then specify the identification key of the OU and the identification key of each material set.

    3. Choose with the quick info text Save.

    The system determines the short text of the OU and the identification of the material set.

    4. To exit the function, choose with the quick info text Exit.

    Hi,

    You can maintaion BOM(Bill of Material ).Bill of Material is an complete list of components that make up a finished manufactured product. The Bill of material consists of the item number of each component, quantity required in the manufacture of a component and the unit of measure of the item. Some of the categories of BOM include, document BOM, material BOM, equipment BOM, Sales Order BOM and Functional location BOM.

    T.code: CS01

    Note:

    You can use material group to group together several materials or services with the same attributes and to assign them to a particular material group.

    Or

    Origin Group:Used for subdividing material and overhead costs

    Guys,

    I need Material Set for Profitability Analysis.

    Lets say i have 5 materials

    Mat-A

    Mat-B

    Mat-C

    Mat-D

    Mat-E

    I want to make a "Material Set" of all these 5 materials. which will uniquely identify these materials.

    Dear Kunal,

    Please Use Transaction Code:KEU1

    then pick a default CYCLE

    On this screen select the "First Segment" button.

    Then choose the "Senders/Recievers" Tab.

    on this screen under the group column for "Products" it dosent give me any selectable values.
