hi,all,

I m creating maintenance order directly by t-code IW31 without creating notification, when I am doing TECO by t-code IW32,system is giving one pop-up message ,reference date ,time and also complete notification with check box?can anybody please explain where we can use this reference date and time and also I am not creating any notification still system is asking whether to complete the notification or not? Please explain what settings I have to do so that as per requirement only check box with complete notification should populate.

Also, having pending PR for service for the maintenance order ,system is allowing me to do TECO ?please explain why it is happening

thanks in advance.

Rajib,

- Are there any notification assignments on the Object tab

- Does this happen for all orders

- Are you using any user-exits/BADIs/Etc

yes it is happening for all orders.I m using one user exit i.e.IMCR0004 for triggering notification from measurement document? is it due to that user exit?please suggest.

Rajib,

Possibly...

Try deactivating this user-exit, and re-test with newly created documents.

If the problem is resolved, then you know the user-exit is causing the problem..

The reference time is the time for which the statistical data should be updated for maintenance analysis. Be it the costs or if there is notification data the MTBR and the MTTR. The reference time mainly pertains to the technical object.

During the execution of the order say the equipment was dismantled and installed in a different functional location when you TECO the order the costs are collected and aggregated as per the date you provided for reference time during TECO. Let's say your order basic dates were 01042008 to 10042008. And say on 5th you moved your equipment from floc X to Y. During TECO if you entered 02042008 then the costs are accumulated under the equipment and as you "drill up" they will appear under the floc X. Instead if you entered say 9th then the order costs will show up under Y.

Hi Rajib,

Remove your integration points for Notification order so that u will not get the notification satrt/end time etc.

For PR against Maint Order if the PO is created / Service Enrty seets are maintened & then it will give u warning meassge even if u are proceeding it will allow u.

But while business close transcation for order there should not be any pending cost on the order so your questions anwer get addressed at Order Close & not at Techo.

Hi,

In ur system Notification and Order integration is maintained. You have to remove that, so that system does not create notification automatically.

Assign Notification Types to Order Types

Define Notification and Order Integration

If pending PR is existing and u don't want to allow the order to be tech completed you have to use user exit for this event.

Hi Rajib,

This is a system setting n the integration between the order and notification is only for automatic creation of notifications when u create an order. and whenever u'll TECO th order u'll always get th pop up,so u need not worry about that.U'll notice a checkbox at th bottom which says 'complete notifications',just dnt check it as thr r no notifications as u mentioned.th time n date r for order completion(TECO).

For ur second concern,u can use th user exit so tht u can not TECO th order without processing th PR's. Otherwise th system will automatically put a deletion flag on th generated PR's and will ve no affect on purchasing.
