Unable to determine A/R summary data for customer

GM SD Gurus

In FD32 transaction , there is a button "A/R Summary Data"

On clicking on this button , we are not getting any data.

System is giving following information message

"Unable to determine A/R summary data for customer 3700531 in control area Z001"

We have not activated Record Payment History till now. Is is because of this of is there any other issue ?

Pls suggest.
