Why can't create same recipe counter after delete?

After i delete master recipe by C202>Enter recipe group>Enter>Select recipe group counter 5>Click delete

The question is...

1. Why i can't re-create recipe 5 again(not like bom which can delete alternative and can re-create same alter) it show message "Select another description for recipe, this one already exists" although not have any information of recipe group counter 5 when display?

2.Why SAP make this complicated when would like to delete and re-create same alternative (not like bom)

3.I try to archive&delete recipe with C299 why status it still yellow ( Incomplete Archiving Sessions) so long time. what any task i miss?

Hi

Because in your case you have created master recipe .Even though you have deleted ,but still existis in data base.

Simple Example

If you want to test it while deleting the routing you might have deleted say group counter"1".

If you try to create the rotuing in the same group , system will take group counter "2" only.

That means in the database that routing is existing.

You can go through the library also about master recipe / routing deletion.

Try deleting the it from CA98 transaction.

This will delete entries in all related tables like

MAPL, PLKO,PLAS and PLPO

Whenever a tasklist is deleted using the deletion function, the tasklist details still exists in Tasklist header table with ":Deletion Indicator", that is the reason why you are not allowed to create a new tasklist with old group counter.

You need to use transaction C298 to delete this record from table.
