Approver is not getting Approve/Reject links in his email

We have an offline approval process where our SC approvers receive approval emails in their Outlook and they approve/reject the SC from there.

We have a situation where one approver receives the email without the approve/reject links whereas another approver with the same profile/role/setup (that we know of) has the approve/reject links. The SC requester is not the same as the approver so I don't know why one has the buttons and the other one doesn't.

Does anyone know if this is user-setting specific that could cause the problem? We're on SRM4.0.

Hi,

The main reason for the links not appearing is that the SMTP inbound address is not maintained in transaction SO50.In SO50 / SCOT, for Exit name 'CL_BBP_SMTP_INBOUND_INV' maintain the email of the workflow admin.

Also Please see whether the email ID is maintained for the approver user ans also the default printer in SU01.

Check also if either in your user's organizational unit ( PPOSA_BBP transaction), or for the user's position, attribute ID 'FORWARD_WI' has 'X" as value.

WF admin has email address maintained.

The user also has his email maintained in SU01 and the appropriate attribute in PPOSA...just like other approvers. The problem is that only this approver doesn't get the approval links. Other approvers do. That's why I thought it's at a user level in SU01 or something.

Any where else I should be checking?
