Purchasing Group in ECS

I'm facing the problem when the purchaser in ECS creates a PO manually in Transaction BBP_POC a purchasing group cannot be determined and error message appears

In organizational structure I assigned to a purchasing group under resposibility tap the position of the purchaser. All other purchasing groups are responsible for the whole organisation.

What is wrong ?

You need a local Purchasing Org and local Purchasing Group under which the user should be assigned. If you have completed this and still facing the problem, please let me know.

thats the solution, it works.

Is the backend purchasing org and purchasing group with which the backend PO is created found by the resposiblities maintained for the backend purch org and purch group in ppoma

Hi,

First the system validates the Organizational responsibility and then it validates the Product Responsibility.

But I would suggest you to take a look at the ECS Scenario and how the system works for a better understanding;
