Deprecated Web service model creation

Former Member

Dear, guru,

I tried to create Web service model (deprecated) based on local WSDL file. No one item under Model node in Web Dynpro explorer have found. What is matter? How can I create WS model in NWDS 7.0.13? Do I update NetWeaver studio or something like that? Please, help me.

Thanks.

Hi

Up to my knowledge create web service model (Deprecated) when we are using Webservice of Enterprise bean and when we are creating from R/3 System then use a model of Adaptive webservice model.

Onething after creating the model you have to select local file system or URL

Thanks,

Hi,

Try using the adaptive type. I'm pretty sure that its the same wizard (almost) and it will give you the desired results.

If you can't use the wsdl directly from the site, save it locally (to the workstation) and import it as local file (inside the wsdl is the correct address).

I can't use adaptive type. Adaptive mode is not supported by sp13.

I did in the same way as you advice. I saved wsdl in local FS and tried to import but it failed.

Hi,

Why not use the "adaptive web service model"?

You don't have to assign destinations.
