How to change standard PCA hierarchy for Controlling Area?

Dear all,

I'd like to change standard PCA hierarchy for Controlling Area. System doesn't allow me to do this with the following message:

=====================================

Standard hierarchy CIS for COAr 0700 already contains profit center(s)

Message no. KM160

Diagnosis

You wish to change the standard hierarchy of a controlling area, however, profit centers have already been assigned to the hierarchy. For this reason, you may not change the standard hierarchy for this controlling area.

=====================================

How can I change it?

    We cannot change the standard hierarchy for PCA.

    We can have one alternative hierarchy.

    So there is only one standard hierarchy & one alternative hierarchy for controlling area.

    Thanks

      Hi Philipp Epifanov,

      Use transaction KE52, Change Profit Center Master Data, in that just change the Profit Center Group, this way you can change the Hierarchy of Profit Center successfully,

      then use KCH5N - Change to edit /mostly delete the unassigned /not used Nodes or Groups.

      Hope this will solve your problem.

      Regards,

      Rajdeep Rane.

    Hi,

    In the live production client you cannot change the standard hierarchy as there will be postings to these profit centers already.

    Whereas, you create any number of alternate hierarchies for reporting purposes.

    Good Luck!!! Award points if this answer was useful to you...

    Thanksa and Regards,
