Different machines for same app in fiori

Hello Experts ,

I've one doubt .
I built an fiori application (front end) on a machine that don't have any abap dictionary tables. And the solution proposed is build the oData service in another machine.
My point is I never build one fiori app with different machines (front end and back end) this is possible to do ?

Can you help me please ?
