installation error on "updating database statistics"

Dear friends,

i am installing solution manager on AIX with oracle database.

when installation reach updating database statistics step, it gives me following

error.

Execution of the command "/sapmnt/SSM/exe/brconnect '-u' '/' '-c' '-f' 'crsyn' '-o' 'SAPSSM'"

finished with return code 3. Output: BR0801I BRCONNECT 6.40 (15)BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp:

unknown NLS parameter value specifiedBR0310E Connect to database instance SSM failed

ERROR 2008-07-21 09:09:53

CJS-00288 Could not update database statistics.

DIAGNOSIS: Command brconnect -u / -c -f crsyn -o SAPSSM returned 3,

which is not a success code. SOLUTION: See brconnect.log for details.

brconnect.log contents are as follow.

BR0301E SQL error -12705 at location db_connect-2

ORA-12705: invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified

Hello. Check your NLS environments. Note 592657 - ORA-12701/ORA-12705/ORA-12709

Hello,

ORA-12705 indicates a possible problem with NLS paramter variables.

Please check that ORA_NLS / ORA_NLS32 / ORA_NLS33 are set properly.

Check that the directory they point to is correct and that the directory

is accessible. Check also note 393620 and 592657.

i checked Note 592657 - ORA-12701/ORA-12705/ORA-12709.

and set my NLS_LANG and ORA_NLS33 parameters but still i was getting the same error.

now i did the fresh installation and it was sucessfull.

For the problem seems that there is ora_nls33 is set incorrectly...
