Hello Experts

Can anyone explain me how to design cheque and how to create layout in smartform?

how to design layout for cheque printing if anyone have step by step procedure

please explain me

Hi ,

Check the additional event 'Only on Page...' and then provide the page 1 for the Payslip parts and Page 2 for the cheque parts and then check.

what happen if payslip contains 2 or 3 pages ??

Hi,

To design exactly the cheque layout , better would be to take a hard copy of the cheque layout and measure the size of the cheque.

Then measure exactly with a ruler how the texts and the lines are positioned on the cheque.

Also the parts which are preprinted and the parts which are to be designed in the smartforms.

Then design exactly the way it is required in smartforms with the postions and the paragraph formats and use the appropriate page format.

Hi

first you get a hard copy of sample design cheque.

Now think over if your cheque must be in landscape or potrait format.

Then go to page output options select radio button potrait or lanscape format.

Now inside main window you can create a table/template. There u mention all your dynamic fields.

best practice of creating windows is go to form painter right click and select window , place it where all your headings date and other description has to appear on cheque.

Now you create text elements where you wanted print the text.

You can even create graphics to make your logos appear on cheque if require. For this go to transaction se78.

Design and activate your form.

What i need to do is that I want to design Payslip on Page1 of smartform and on next page I need to print Cheque I have created page2 and added window in it when i tried to execute it it gives me short dump

I have designed page1 for Payslip

It would be great help if anybody explains me how to design cheque part in smartform

what i need is layout design only?
