sd tender Process(SAP R/3)

Hi sd gurus,

Here we r implementing R/3- ECC 6

Client name is ABC

Here client floats tender to parties regarding rate & quantity, Then ABC company recievs from Tender on quantity & rate from various parties.

Then ABC management does negotiation with all parties & finalises one party(broker)

Then normal SD process Proceeds i.e., Company enters in to contract with broker..& proceeds....

Plz tell me , can this tender process be mapped in SAP R/3 SD.

The Tender floating can be mapped in SAP

I am not sure in SD it would not be possible.

But you can configure the same in the MM via RFQ (request for Quotations.)

The Tender or RFQ is floated and your vendors provide the Quotations which can be entered into the SAP by valuations

Then the same can be evaluated via various RFQ comparation reports.

Then you agree upon one vendor to give the PO.

As soon as the PO is released to the vendor .

you can proceed with the Contracts in SAP SD .
